WHAT'S
THE MAXIMUM HEIGHT YOU CAN TRANSPORT?
That
all depends on where you want to go from and to, It is possible to
transport boats over 5m with a bit of careful route planning
to avoid low bridges. our trailer adds 300mm (12") to the
overall height of your boat as a rough guide minimum bridge heights are :-
UK 5M (16'6").
France Spain Ireland & Portugal 4.6M (15')
Holland & Germany 4.3M (14') |
HOW
FAST DO YOU TRAVEL?
All
trucks in Europe over 7.5 tonns are limited to 90 kph (56mph), but
with a wide load we have
to stick to the speeds set out in the permits, in some
countries (Spain) as
slow as 60kph (38mph) |
