CONDITIONS OF CARRIAGE 
All goods are carried subject to R.H.A. conditions of carriage 1991 caravans and boats, C.M.R. and the following conditions conditions of carriage, providing the vessel is in a sound structural condition and fit to be transported by road.

LOADING AND OFF LOADING 
In all cases loading and off loading will be carried out at owners risk. The cost of cranage is not included in our quote unless specified.

VESSELS LYING AFLOAT  
If we are asked to haul out/launch a vessel, this operation will be entirely at the owners risk. On launching, quotes will only hold good if the following conditions are met: the slipway should have a good firm surface, ample width, sufficient depth of water, no under water obstructions, and steep enough to allow our trailer to free wheel down its slope.

MASTS  
Quotes do not include stepping/unstepping of masts unless requested. otherwise the mast and boom must be removed before our arrival, and fixed to the top of the yacht so as to allow minimum overhang to the stern, and minimum overall height. with all the rigging roped and taped to the mast.

LIMIT OF LIABILITY  
We are not covered by our insurers for, and will not be responsible for damage caused when; internal contents haven't been stowed and secured properly, by owners or agents prior to transport. fixtures and fittings, rigging screws, hatch covers, rudders, windscreens, VHF and radio antennae, etc, are lost or damaged in transit. these must all be removed prior to transport. We will not be responsible for anything other than actual damages. all hull openings, sea cocks, etc have not been closed prior to launching. we are asked to deliver/collect a vessel from a site with inadequate access and vessel or property is damaged, i.e.; over-hanging trees, hedges, narrow/awkward gateways fences etc. minor bumps and scratches. Outboard engines not secured to the vessel in the prescribed way, damage to out drives and propellers which cannot be proven to be in perfect condition after loading. Damage to the aforementioned occurring after loading. When a vessel is not as described to us by owner or agent. A trailer owned by owner or agent, being towed by our vehicle is the cause of damage to vessel, i.e. tyre failure, structural defects. We accept no responsibility for any item of gear not on the vessel to be transported which is inadvertently left behind. (this includes keys)

IMPOSSIBILITY OF PERFORMANCE
The carrier shall be relieved of its obligation to perform the contract to the extent that the performance is prevented by the failure of the customer and any of the following, accident or brake down of vehicles, delays caused by ferries, bad weather, police, customs officials, incorrect permits/authorizations, unexpected fiestas/ holidays in Europe, road works, exhibition deliveries any of the aforementioned delays may also have a "knock on effect" and clients will be kept informed.  We do not accept any claim against us by cranes or boat yards for failure to collect or deliver vessels on time.

PAYMENT  
When an owner or agent commissions us to move a vessel, it will be deemed that he agrees to make payment for work done on delivery unless by prior arrangement and that he agrees with the conditions of carriage here written. All quotes include V.A.T.

NON PAYMENT   
If the payment conditions are not met the vessel will be held by us until such time as the payments are met. All extra storage, labour and handling charges will be added.
